The BLOCK Party - July 29

July 29, 2017, 5:30pm - July 29, 2017, 9:30pm

Now celebrating 5 years! Come join us at THE BLOCK, our downtown street party, on Saturday, July 29th from 5:30-9:30pm. THE BLOCK will take place on one block of Cabot Street from Pond Street to Federal Street. Guests can walk around, meet up with friends, listen to live music and enjoy street food, beer and wine. Because alcohol will be served, this is an event geared towards adults. Everyone is welcome to attend THE BLOCK, but there will not be any kids’ activities. Our other events like Arts Fest and Beverly’s New Year offer kids’ activities, but not this one. Rule of 3 and Kühnsland Band will provide live music at the Pond Street stage and we will have a DJ Andrea Stamas at Ellis Square all night, so you can enjoy music all over THE BLOCK. New this year, we are adding drumming and dancing. 105.7 WROR will be there with a free prize wheel and more. Don’t forget to stop by the Beverly Main Streets tent to learn about upcoming events and our sponsors. Major sponsors will have their tents set up at THE BLOCK with fun freebies, giveaways and contests! Local restaurants will sell food that you can walk around with or you can pull up a chair at a long community table in the middle of the street. Enjoy dinner and dessert from vendors set up outside on Cabot Street including Atomic Café, Barrel House American Bar, Chive, Fancy's Snoballs, Flourish Bake Shoppe, Joe's on a Roll, Kame, La Victoria Taqueria, Soma and Winfrey's Fudge & Chocolates. Food selections include lobster rolls, pizza, sandwiches, burritos, hot dogs, dumplings, fresh salads, iced coffee, pastries and more. Salerno’s Italian Eatery will be selling craft beer, sangria and wine. Downtown restaurants in the area will also be open so there will be plenty of choices for everyone. Suggested donation at the gate is $5. Cash only. Bring your MA ID if you plan to drink. Please note bags may be subject to inspection. No pets, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades or hover boards. Cabot Street will be closed starting at 2:30pm from Pond Street to Federal Street.
